NRA Approved INTERNATIONAL AIR PISTOL and STANDING PRECISION AND SPORTER AIR RIFLE MATCH PROGRAM

ELEGIBILITY: Open to all competitors. Membership in the NRA is not required.

ENTRIES: Competitors who wish to preregister and be assigned a specific relay may e-mail their request to aehaley@myfairpoint.net. Preregistration is recommended. Entries are limited to a total (Pistol and Rifle combined) of 14 competitors, two relays of seven competitors on each relay. Registration will be available at the range on the day of the match up to the the above stated range capacity. Preregistered competitors who are not at the range 10 minutes before the start of their relay may forfeit their position. Relays at 1300 hrs. and 1500 hrs. may be scheduled if warrented.

FEES: $15.00 per competitor.
TIME OF FIRING: 1ST RELAY 0900 HRS. 2ND RELAY 1100 HRS.

TARGETS: Competitors in the pistol matchs will use the B-40-4 Air Pistol Target and fire 3 shots per bull. Competitors in the rifle matchs will use the AR-5-10 Air Rifle Target and fire 1 shot per bull.

CHALLENGES: A challenge fee of $2.00 will be charged for each challenge made.

CLASSIFICATION: The NRA classification system will be used in all matches. Classification cards will be checked at registration. Unclassified competitors will compete in the Master Class.

AWARDS: Match winner. First in each class if 5 or more competitors in that class. Classes with fewer than five competitors will be combined with the next higher class. Second in each class if 10 or more competitors in that class.

COURSES OF FIRE:
PISTOL: MEN: 10 minute preparation time. Unlimited sighting shots on a maximum of 4 bulls, followed by 60 record shots (3 shots per bull) in a total time for sighting shots plus record shots of 1 hour and 45 minutes. After the first record shot is fired, no further sighting shots are permitted.

PISTOL: WOMEN: same as for men except 40 record shots and total time for sighting shots and record shots is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Women may fire the men's course at their discretion.

RIFLE, STANDING: 10 minute preparation time. Unlimited sighting shots on a maximum of 12 bulls, followed by 60 record shots, (one shot per bull), in a total time, for sighting shots plus record shots, of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

All competitors are expected to be familiar with all rules and comply with the NRA International rules for clothing and equipment. Equipment may be checked, trigger pull, weight, size, etc.
